An external staircase
leads to the two suites which each have a south facing balcony, offering views
of the countryside and the nearby Burren national park.
Internally each open
plan suite has a double bedroom area as well as a living area with a sofa, a
real fire stove and a dining table all facing the view.
The efficient kitchen
alcove has a ceramic hob, combined grill microwave and oven, and a fridge all
enclosed within oak units. The modern white shower room is mirrored and
brightly lit. Facilities include under-floor heating and plenty of storage
space.
Each suite retains
the uninterrupted form of the original hay loft, with quirky windows located
within the existing opening. On the top (second) floor the pitched roof has
been raised to form a high vaulted ceiling. A strip of window runs around all
four sides allowing the sun to glance in at all times of the day.
The suites are an
ideal holiday spot for a couple:
the perfect hideaway if you want to write that novel or somewhere to step out
of the rat race and chill for a week or two.
