Athenry Walled Towns Day 2024

<p class="MsoNormal">Athenry Walled Towns Day is a free family fun day which showcases the influences of the Anglo-Normans in the best-preserved medieval town in Ireland. The programme of events which is curated by the Athenry Heritage Centre and the Heritage Officer of Galway County Council includes battle reenactments, arts &amp; crafts displays, displays of armour and weaponry, performances by Galway Early Music and Carmel Dempsey ensemble, birds of prey displays, children's fun workshops, have a go archery, a medieval photo-booth, walking tours of Athenry and much much more.
